Midas Monument, accepted as the most glorious monument of the Phryg Valley, is dated to the 6th century B.C. The monument differentiates from the other monuments in the settlement by its dimensions and the qualified workmanship of the reliefs.

The project started with the survey of the monument and continued with the structural and geophysical studies exploring the cracks on the ornamented facade. These studies involved structural monitoring, dynamic tests and GPR studies and after the evaluation of the results, intervention decisions were developed.
