Mersin Old British Mill Project has been awarded in the 18th National Architecture Exhibition and Awards for the Design - Preservation category.

Within the scope of the National Architecture Exhibition and Awards, which is organized by the Chamber of Architects every two years and held for the 18th time this year, the awards determined in the categories of building, design and ideas presentation were announced at a ceremony held in Cermodern on Friday, April 15, 2022. Within these three categories, 98 projects were evaluated and 10 projects were awarded among 23 award nominees. Mersin Old British Mill Project has been awarded under Design – Preservation sub-category.

The Bodrum Castle, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and where the most important underwater archeology museum in the world is reside in, was opened to visitors.

Three years of restoration work on Bodrum Castle, one of the last castles built by the Crusaders about 600 years ago, has been completed. These works conducted in the castle that is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List include, repairement of the walls and towers, as well as the rearrangement of open spaces and exhibition spaces. The opening of the castle, which also hosts the most important underwater archeology museum in the world, was held with the participation of the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

Restoration works of the historical Ram Castle, which is a shared cultural heritage of Turkey and the Republic of Serbia, has been completed.

The conservation project of the Ram Castle, which is a shared cultural heritage of Turkey and the Republic of Serbia, prepared by ANB Architecture under the leadership of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, has been completed. Within the scope of the restoration project, the cultural and touristic potential of the region developed by the consolidation of the current state of the castle, the architectural arrangement of the inside of the fortress and its immediate surroundings.
