The Kahta Castle near Kahta village is located inside Nemrut Mountain National Park. It is known that the high rocky hill where the castle was built, was being used during the Hellenistic and Roman periods (Komagene Kingdom). While the fortresses and castle units are representing the characteristic features of the Crusader castles, the building has been restored and enlarged at the time of Eyyubi State.

Within the scope of the project, besides the survey and restitution studies, intervention methods for the consolidation of the remaining architectural elements are suggested and a landscape design project is prepared.
