The Justinianus (Sangarios) Bridge, located in the Serdivan district of Sakarya province, is located on the Çark Creek. The bridge subject to the study was built with an east-west extension and there are Triumphal Arch on the west, the Apsed Structure on the east, the Vaulted Structure built adjacent to the bridge, the Bath and the Cistern structures on the southeast of this bridge. The bridge was constructed between 527-560 CE and the surrounding structures are important Byzantine works that have survived by preserving their historical characteristics.

The project includes Documentation – Problem Analysis, Georadar Measurements, Material Analysis, Historical Research – Restitution, Intervention Decisions – Restoration and Civil Engineering projects. In addition, a protective shelter system is designed to protect the excavation area from environmental effects.
