Historical Ani (Ocaklı) Bridge is located in the central district of Kars, within the borders of Ocaklı village, on the south of Ani city, which reached the climax of its political, economic, military and religious development in the Middle Ages, on Arpaçay river and at the entrance point of the Silk Road to Anatolia. The structure was built in the 10th c. CE. It was demolished to prevent Russian attack on the 16th of October 1807, during the Ottoman-Russian War, and today the bridge’s piers on both sides of Arpaçay, its partially conserved arch, a part of spandrel wall and walls of tower elevations have reached.

The project includes Archaeological Excavation, Documentation – Problem Analysis, Material Analysis, Historical Research – Restitution, Intervention Decisions – Restoration and Civil Engineering Projects.
