The building, located in the historical city center of Ankara, is dated to the Seljuk Period. Arslanhane Mosque is one of the rare examples of the mosques having a timber structural system. The workmanship of the timber minbar and stucco mihrab as well as the brick minaret reflects the architecture of the period.

Within the scope of the project, in addition to the survey and restitution studies, detailed studies were prepared for the elimination of the structural system problems and the conservation of the original architectural elements.
