Historical Gediz (Buruncuk) R.C.B. Bridge is located on the old İzmir-Bergama road in the north of the Menemen district of İzmir province. The bridge was built in 1935 and is one of the important engineering works of the Early Republican Period. The reinforced concrete bowstring type structure has survived to the present day by preserving the characteristics of its construction period and its original materials. The bridge, which was built in a northeast-southwest direction, has 165 m. length. It is formed by the combination of 5 arch beams with the same features and length. These arch beams rest on 6 pillars.
