Ayasuluk Castle is located at the center of Selçuk village, İzmir. The castle stands at a 1st degree archaeological site, where the Basilica of St. John is on the south part. The small Basilica in the castle is a proof of the use of the site during the Byzantine period. The fortresses have the traces of Aydınoğulları and Ottoman period.

The project includes architectural conservation projects as well as landscape design of an archaeological site that includes the castle and St. Jean’s basilica.
